Rat Rod Truck
There
was a time when the traditional hot rods ruled the roads and blazed a trail
which has remained unmatched till date. If we go into the details then these
hot rods which are now named ‘rat rod trucks’ had an aesthetic bent of mind.
They were customized from older models and made to look different from the
rest.
The
original rat rod trucks had minimal or no accessories and were almost bare from
the exterior. With the hoods, fenders, bumpers and running boards missing, the
rat rod trucks looked as though they had been skinned alive. But the truth is far from this, as rat rods
use a unique theme which is contradictory to the universally accepted concepts.
This is the style quotient of the hot rods and this is what earned them an
iconic status.

For
those of you who are new to the concept of rat rod trucks, allow me to explain.
Well, hot rods are customized vehicles which are made out of old, rotting
automobiles, such as a 1940 Ford pick up or a 1945 Chevrolet. They are then
modified to suit the likes of the modern day traveler and offer all possible
luxuries in terms of a spacious interior and a superior engine. Some of them
are also blessed with disc brakes and air bags.
The benefit of going in for a rat rod truck is that the vehicle is low on the purse and easy to maintain. Besides, it is been granted an iconic status which is no less than a privilege.
